SUMMARY

When Bank of Luxemburg decided to move forward with plans to design and build a new main branch and administrative center, they chose to work with La Macchia Group for the project.

The exterior of the building is a mixture of brick and stone accented by a vast array of windows which give the building an airy and light feel.  The result is a facility that conveys the bank’s bedrock principles of strength and stability with a modern touch.  The interior has a traditional feel in line with the traditional branding of the bank.  Contrasting wood tones, brass fixtures, and multiple lighting styles all work together to create a space that is inviting and professional.

There were a few unique items that La Macchia Group had to tackle when it came down to designing and building the facility.  One key component of the project was the need to incorporate space for the wealth management company, Raymond James.  La Macchia Group was able to do it in such a way that is unobtrusive to bank operations.  Another component was that the bank wished to donate the parcel of land the previous building sat upon to the city of Luxemburg so that the city could transform that site into the Veteran’s Memorial Park.  La Macchia Group ensured it met all requirements for construction.

In the end, the new building re-anchored the downtown district of Luxemburg by creating a focal point for the community and is a testament to the commitment the bank has to the growth and vitality of the town.
