SUMMARY
Rock Island Federal Credit Union (RIA) broke ground August 26, 2014 to enhance and grow their corporate headquarters under the direction of La Macchia Group. The idea behind the design was to expand their operations center to better serve their growing number of employees and members. This was done by building a new, two-story 36,000 square-foot building featuring modern elements that highlight a retail-inspired look.
Interior elements included an open ceiling allowing for natural light to shine through, a café to better service credit union members and several areas for employee congregation. A clean look and feel was implemented using a soft sand color palette in creams and browns on both the interior and exterior to reflect the professional and open experience of the RIA brand.
