At the recent American Society of Interior Designers Wisconsin Design Excellence Awards, held on May 1st, 2025, the La Macchia Group Interior Design team was honored to accept 6 Design Excellence Awards for 6 different projects. The awards received include 1 Gold, 3 Silver, and 2 Bronze.

One of Diamond Credit Union's specific goals for this project was to reimagine the member experience. The Vivalociti team worked with the client's engineers to ensure the new design would act as a launching point for their evolving member engagement. The integration of ITMs was a large focus as well, giving members the opportunity to work with staff if needed, or take a more independent route. Throughout the whole branch, you will see Diamond Credit Union's brand displayed. From the casework to the ceiling features, members are given a strong sense of identity to adhere to, a place they belong. Their vibrant blues and oranges are strategically placed to allow visitors to see the whole branch naturally in a dynamic and exciting way.

Sun Community Federal Credit Union's Imperial branch has been reimagined into an urban-coastal oasis, capturing the essence of the vibrant communities Sun Community FCU serves. Stepping inside, members are welcomed into a bright, open-concept space where modern design meets local heritage. Sleek, contemporary furniture and bold brand colors create a dynamic yet inviting atmosphere, while cutting-edge technology ensures a seamless banking experience.

Eglin Federal Credit Union's Freeport branch was designed to amplify the welcoming and friendly atmosphere that EFCU members know while introducing a new tech-forward feel. With in-branch ITMs, members now have the option to perform quick transactions without staff assistance, while knowing staff is still present if they have questions or want to sit down with a banker. To add another layer of convenience, the branch contains a 24-hour vestibule with an ATM/ITM for members who need to stop in after hours.

Rondout Savings Bank in Kingston, New York, sought the help of La Macchia Group to transform the first floor of their recently purchased two-story building into a branch that would help serve their community and customers in the best way possible. This 1840’s building brought along a vast history with it, and it was crucial to both teams to integrate a modern feel into the space, while still paying homage to the structure that has lasted for as long as it has. While bringing this space to life, another crucial aspect was to reinforce the bank’s brand and core values of Community, Accountability, Relationships, Excellence, and Security (CARES).

State Savings Bank of Manistique sought the help of La Macchia Group to reinvent their space in Manistique, looking to provide everyone who walked into the branch with a sense of their steadfast brand and mission.
The design of the space was curated with organic curvature, invoking a delightful and inviting journey for their customers. Grounding dark wood tones follow the curvature of the space and reinforcing the journey by dividing the spatial experience. The bank's blue tones are interwoven to bring a sense of personality into the space, all gestures reminiscent of one of the great wonders of the Upper Peninsula- the surrounding lakes.

The design of Members 1st Community Credit Union's new facility was strategically crafted to capture the attention of grocery store traffic, sparking curiosity and inviting members and potential customers to step inside and explore. Inside, the layout combines personalized, up-close member service with modern ITM technology, both in the lobby and the drive-through. This balance ensures that Members 1st can provide efficient service without sacrificing the personal touch their members value.
