STATE SAVINGS BANK OF MANISTIQUE

An independent bank started in 1917, State Savings Bank of Manistique has always been known amongst customers for their strong values, respect, and trust. SSB sought the help of La Macchia Group to reinvent their space in Manistique, looking to provide everyone who walked into the branch with a sense of their steadfast brand and mission. 

The design of the space was curated with organic curvature, invoking a delightful and inviting journey for their customers. Grounding dark wood tones follow the curvature of the space and reinforcing the journey by dividing the spatial experience. The bank's blue tones are interwoven to bring a sense of personality into the space, all gestures reminiscent of one of the great wonders of the Upper Peninsula- the surrounding lakes.

Local landscape abstracted by local artist Tommy Sweeney anchor the engagement areas.  A large curved LED screen, flanked by a greeter desk invokes a sense of welcome and trust, the greeter is someone that is able to assist in the beginning of the journey and the versatility the LED screen offers gives the customer the opportunity to learn about that value that the bank brings to the table.
