Coastal Credit Union is growing, and so is its home state of North Carolina. With an 11.77% increase in population since 2010, the state has seen an increase in urbanization with urban and suburban areas outpacing rural ones. Coastal Credit Union saw the need to keep up with this growth by working with us to develop a prototype design and deploy it in the following locations:
By having a prototype look with a kit of parts, deployment is quick, easy and provides a cost effective way to stay afloat in growing markets.
Coastal Credit Union is best known for its visually captivating brand (the vibrant yet classic green) and community engagement. Incorporating elements of that into the prototype was important to get right for our design/build team supported by data from our in-house GIS and branding experts. However, we didn’t stop there and began having conversations around what technology could do for the credit union.
Elevating the Coastal brand presence through more advanced approaches to service delivery while boosting product & service advertising have proven to work for its leadership who desires to merge high-tech with high-touch. One way Coastal Credit Union does this is through its utilization of Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) and other forms of technology integrated into the design. It is no wonder that their team has seen success in the viability of their branching strategy. Preferred Financial Institution and Employer
The opportunities are endless for Coastal Credit Union. As new markets continue to present themselves, a direct focus on growing their talent base will be important. What do employees want? Where do they desire to work? And what kind of culture do they seek? Crafting a comfortable and engaging workplace or enhancing an existing one is and will play a major part in growing their workforce at the organizational level, and community level. This is how Coastal Credit Union can retain PFI (preferred financial institution) status and become a competitive employer in the city of Raleigh.
