SUMMARY

After outgrowing its previous main office in Flint, Michigan, Dort Federal Credit Union decided it was time to relocate and expand their new administrative center. Dort partnered with La Macchia Group to design and build their new 40,000 square-foot administrative center located behind their branch in the Grand Blanc Township.

The three-story building features a lower level with a spacious employee lounge opening to an outdoor patio. A substantial retaining wall was built to allow for the full exposure of the lower level that overlooks the 10-acre property. The exterior design of the administrative building complements that of the free standing branch located steps away.

Dort's new administrative building was designed with room for future growth and serve as a training center to continuously develop and maintain top quality member service. The functional design of the interior allows for a variety of layouts for each training occasion and a mock-teller line for live training. The employee lounge incorporates a bright, energetic look and feel. Beautiful sweeping views of the surrounding acreage can be seen from all corners of the employee-focused administrative center.
