Coastal Federal Credit Union Opens New, Modern Branch Featuring New Tech

CARBORRO, NC -- A weeklong celebration marked the grand opening of Coastal Federal Credit Union's new branch in Carborro, North Carolina. Starting off the week of celebration, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held Tuesday, May 17, which was attended by the Coastal FCU Board of Directors, staff, members of the Chamber of Commerce, and the community.

Coastal Federal Credit Union reached out to La Macchia Group to partner with them on creating their new, modern branch. The key design of the new facility for Coastal was to offer a convenient location to their members and providing a unique and immersive experience. As with all Coastal FCU locations, La Macchia Group installed Personal Teller Machines, (PTM), technology coined by Coastal FCU that allows tellers offsite the ability to service members via a digital monitor. This technology allows members to access the same service as a fully staffed branch while allowing the credit union retail lobby to remain open longer.

Staying true to their brand, La Macchia Group designed a space that complemented the other branches of Coastal FCU and provided the members a space for efficent service.
