La Macchia Group worked with Blackhawk to successfully identify several markets as well as complete negotiations, evaluations, projections and market capture within these areas. La Macchia Group identified a unique site opportunity in Deerfield, a Steak & Shake restaurant.  They were able to clandestinely acquire the property and receive the necessary zoning approvals.  The building was approved and in less than four months the restaurant was converted into a full service branch.  This location alleviated some of the pressure from the Milwaukee Street branch which had to maintain operations for 14-months due to a complete tear-down and re-building project. (The back lobby and drive-up areas were maintained to service members at the Milwaukee Street location throughout the duration of the project.)
