As the third of several branch locations that La Macchia Group is working on for Coastal Credit Union, the Hope Valley location was a ground-up design/build project that helped Coastal enter a new market and secure instant recognition and appeal.
An essential part of keeping the credit union’s brand consistent is uniformity throughout their branch network. The Hope Valley branch once again brought to life Coastal CU’s new stand-alone branch design, whereby the exterior, interior layout, and finishes were a near-replica to their Holly Springs branch, opened earlier in 2019.
To achieve brand consistency, the bold architecture with complimentary glass and brick to accent it helps members recognize Coastal CU at a distance and at a glance. The familiar green of Coastal Credit Union was strategically incorporated throughout the interior and exterior of the building, while integrating wood grain panels and other accents make it feel welcoming.
Going “tellerless” is a key part of Coastal’s service model, but that doesn’t mean members lack support. Interactive Teller Machines (ITM) offer members convenience in basic transactions, private offices enable staff to consult with members on various accounts, loans and other services, while customizable marketing monitors are displayed behind the reception desk with promotional information and tips for members to improve their financial experience.
This branch was a pleasure to build as La Macchia Group once again tapped into the local contractor base to strengthen the Hope Valley community.
Over the past four years, I have had the absolute pleasure of working with La Macchia Group on a number of successful branch construction projects for Coastal Credit Union. I can confidently say that the entire La Macchia Team has exhibited a high level of professionalism, expertise, workmanship and attention to detail that ensured these projects progressed in a smooth fashion from start to finish.
