SUMMARY

First Financial Credit Union’s South Valley branch marks the third project in the partnership between La Macchia Group and FFCU. While our first project was a phased, live-remodel of an existing branch, the South Valley location is a ground-up branch, part of FFCU’s prototype branch growth strategy.

Growing With a Strategy

First Financial Credit Union approached La Macchia Group looking for a strategy to better serve their continuously growing membership. The teams both agreed that a prototype branch approach would be the best fit for their growth approach. This branch location was built in unison with their Bernalillo location, almost carbon copies of one another. The prototype branch strategy is one of the most efficient ways to grow a financial institution’s footprint. While the timeline still includes the building process, the design of each branch has already been determined.

Not only does a prototype growth approach streamline the design process, it also gives staff and members a sense of consistency. This approach allows for consistent branding, layouts, and services offered by different branches.

Clear Brand Identity

Much like their Albuquerque location, the South Valley branch is a boldly branded space. Wall graphics, brand paint colors, and casework throughout the space consuming members in FFCU’s identity. The strong brand presence allows members to feel a connection with their credit union and encourages interaction and higher engagement.

Take a look at the South Valley branch's build process!

The prototype branch strategy that First Financial Credit Union has implemented has offered them a forward-thinking approach to better reach their members, all while optimizing their operational efficiency. With more projects to come, we can't wait to see this partnership grow!
