FNB Bank aimed to expand its branch network in Virginia and identified Stephens City as the perfect location. As a community-focused bank with deep local roots, FNB sought to create a branch that would meet the needs of the area's growing population. To bring this vision to life, FNB partnered with La Macchia Group to design and construct their fourth full-service branch.
A History Rooted in Community Banking
FNB Bank, originally established as the First National Bank of Romney, began operations on June 11, 1910, in the historic Wirgman Building in Romney with an initial capitalization of $50,000.
Over the years, FNB Bank has experienced steady growth and now operates four full-service branches in Capon Bridge, Fort Ashby, Hampshire Square and most recently, this branch in Stephens City, VA.
FNB Bank believes in people helping people- which is at the heart of community baking. Their tradition of commitment to their community has endured for over 110 years.
A Design, and Bank, for Today and Tomorrow
Situated in the southern part of Frederick County, this full service branch needed to include areas for tellers to perform routine transactions while providing private spaces where bankers could meet internally and with customers.
The FNB blue was applied within the banks interior within the casework and the custom wall coverings that showcase a map of Stephens City streets.
LED monitors were installed at customer touchpoints allowing for customized digital content throughout the space.
Warm wood tones were used for the exterior, a contrast to the blue seen within the logo. Floor to ceiling windows offer the building a modern, airy look while providing ample natural light to flood the interior spaces.
