GR Consumers Credit Union was founded in 1941 by employees of Consumers Energy, and over the years has expanded to become a community-chartered credit union with over 3,200 members! GRCCU approached La Macchia Group in 2023 looking for a change, or a few changes. After performing a Strategic Analysis, the teams got to work on an updated brand. Their new brand brings a contemporary feel with a bright and diverse color palette that reflects an authentic and inclusive community, and provides countless options for brand integration in paint color, wall decals, casework, and print media.

Their new Wyoming, Michigan branch reflects their recent efforts in creating a vibrant and welcoming space for members and staff. The open floorplan and glass office doors provide a combination of functionality and approachability. The brand colors and elements strategically placed throughout the branch combined with the ample natural light create a modern atmosphere that captures the spirit of their brand and mission. From the inviting lobby to the carefully designed service areas, every detail supports a seamless and engaging member experience that fosters connection, transparency, and community.

A strategically placed wall separates the teller desk from the drive-thru teller area. This wall features a Muxwave display, transforming what would otherwise be a glass window or solid wall, into a transparent LED display. This Muxwave allows for natural light to still enter the space, the GR Consumers CU brand to be on display, and for security measures to be taken— all while occupying the smallest amount of valuable floorspace from staff. Incorporated to continue promoting the GRCCU brand, this modern display is a great example of seamless technology integration provided by Vivalociti.

 

 

Every element, from the updated branding to the innovative Muxwave display, reflects the commitment GRCCU has to progress, inclusivity, and community connection.
