ATLANTIC FEDERAL CREDIT UNION - Scarborough

Atlantic Federal Credit Union's ground-up branch in Scarborough, Maine, marks the second project in the partnership between Atlantic Federal Credit Union and La Macchia Group. With the continued goal of expanding their footprint to reach their members more efficiently, the teams knew another location was in this credit union's future.

To promote brand consistency throughout their network, it was essential that this location mirrored the Westbrook, Maine branch. This consistency ensures that visitors and members feel comfortable at any branch they visit, as the familiarity builds trust, reinforces the brand identity, and creates a seamless experience no matter the location.

The LED wall featuring Maine's coast was implemented in this branch as well, and other technology was incorporated to elevate the branded space and enhance the member experience. These advances benefits both members and employees, while continuing to display the credit union's commitment to leveraging technology to meet the members needs. ITM drive ups provide improved operational efficiency while creating a more seamless, innovative look as they don't rely on a traditional teller line or deal drawer. Though a drive-up is common among many branches, this one is unique because the ITMs allows for lower full-time employee counts and extends hours of operation for members.
