Fort Community Credit Union has been growing its roots in Southeastern Wisconsin since 1940. This credit union has a unique history that starts with the dedicated employees of Moe Light who pooled their paychecks together to begin the establishment.
As the years passed, Fort Community CU wanted to provide more sophisticated services to its members. One service Fort Community was lacking was a mortgage lending center and this location was perfect for that. This space not only provides a home for mortgage lending, but it also provides room for operations space thus increasing Fort Community's operational efficiency.
As with any remodel of an older building, it can reveal challenges in unforeseen structural issues. The La Macchia Group team prepared itself for this by conducting proper due diligence before beginning design and construction. Once design & construction were able to begin, the team started with exterior updates to the building so that it matched the appeal of other Fort Community locations. Every FCCU project gets personalized artwork, interior branding, and integrated technology to make members feel as if they're in a familiar place. FCCU's brand identity is creatively crafted throughout the space to capture the look, feel and history that is embedded in the credit union and conveyed to its members.
With a home mortgage store now under its belt, this tallies up to six locations for Fort Community Credit Union making them a competitive credit union in the Southeastern Wisconsin region.
