SUMMARY

Founded in 1940, Texas Plains Federal Credit Union originally served employees of the local telephone company. More than 60 years later, they’ve grown to six branches and thousands of members — all while staying true to their motto: convenient, personable, and “Just plain Texas… just like you!” Texas Plains Federal knows its members well and keeps banking simple, without the frills and complications that can get in the way of what matters most.

Texas Plains Federal sought the help of La Macchia Group in the relocation of their main office, and a Strategic Market Analysis was the best first step. The study provided insight into their growing membership and future needs, resulting in Texas Plains seeking a new branch location. The team at La Macchia Group were able to procure the perfect spot of land for Texas Plains Federal's new branch, and from there, the project came to life.

The new location is the perfect spot for current members, as well as potential members. Hyper-focused on the Lone Star state culture, this branch showcases local landmarks, the deep rooted cattle industry, and everything Amarillo. The interior is a brightly branded and welcoming space, with technology strategically placed throughout the branch. Wall and window decals pay homage to many western themes, as well as the artwork on the walls. Offices located on the perimeter of the lobby feature glass walls and floor to ceiling windows, allowing natural light and an airy atmosphere.

With its strategic location, thoughtful design, and celebration of local heritage, this new branch is more than just a place to bank, it’s a space where members can feel right at home, today and for decades to come.
