SUMMARY

First Light Federal Credit Union wanted to increase its presence in the El Paso market and decided on a location in an up-and-coming community in the area. La Macchia Group's team was challenged with building a branch that would reflect First Light's brand and offer its members a modern financial experience.

Inspiration for the building came from the local scenery of Southwest Texas and Spanish architecture. The three-lane drive-up features two Interactive Teller Machines (ITM) and an additional lane for a future ITM with growth being on this credit union's mindset.

First Light's interior lobby was designed to have an open-concept layout that would allow for easy navigation and offer members amenities to utilize at their leisure. The bold, primary colors of the brand were used strategically in the space to identify the various areas of the lobby: the ITMs, Member Lounge, Kids' Area, Tech Bar, and Member Cafe.

Five ITMs can be accessed by members in the new branch - two in the vestibule and three in the main lobby. The lobby is designed to add an additional ITM in the future. Each ITM is outfitted with branded acoustic paneling for additional privacy. A custom wall mural adorns the upper wall of the lobby which showcases the El Paso community.
