When automotive-based United Bay Community Credit Union needed to find a new source for growth, they hired La Macchia Group to conduct a study.  Coupled with inside knowledge that a casino would be moving into the area, La Macchia Group identified Pinconning, Michigan, as a strong potential market that appeared to be ignored by credit unions in the past.  Our mission was to provide a combination of contemporary, high retail feel with a local home-grown attitude.  We wanted to assure members of the community and local business owners alike that this was “their” credit union. 

With free-standing kiosks and a sitting area with a fireplace, United Bay Community Credit Union connects with the community unlike any other competitor.  Members are immediately greeted as they enter the door with an inviting reception area.  The interior is rustic yet elegant in look and feel.  United Bay Community Credit Union is setting the bar in Pinconning and showing the community an alternative to the status quo.
